Chief Investment Officer
Ron is the original creator of Doliver’s Closed-End Fund investment strategy. His current responsibilities include research, analysis, formulation, and ongoing modification of the Doliver closed-end investment strategy at the portfolio level. He also oversees the proper execution and trading associated with such strategies up until the point at which trades are allocated to individual client accounts. Ron is a graduate of Rice University where he received a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Electrical Engineering. Prior to co-founding the firm in 1986, Ron was a Systems Analyst and Manager for IBM on loan to NASA.
Director of Research & Development
Jingpu is responsible for Doliver’s quantitative research and analysis. He received his Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering from Ohio State University in 2004 and his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rice University in 2007. Jingpu holds the Series 3 Securities license.
Scott is Portfolio Manager for Doliver's Wealth Management division. Scott received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University of Texas at Austin and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston. Scott has 15 years of industry experience and holds the Series 65 Securities license.
Chief Operating Officer/Chief Compliance Officer
Charley's responsibilities include management of trading, administrative operations and compliance, and wealth management. Charley received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University of Texas at Austin. He has 14 years of experience in the securities industry and has been a CFA Charterholder since 2014.
Vice President and General Counsel
Ted serves as General Counsel and is responsible for all legal matters. Ted received his Bachelor of Arts at Emory University in 1992, Phi Beta Kappa. In addition, he received his Masters degree from the University of Houston and J.D. from the University of Houston School of Law. Ted holds the Series 65 and Series 3 Securities licenses.
Senior Quantitative Programmer
Bum is the quantitative programmer for automation and client reporting. He received his Bachelor of Science in Physics from the Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. He later earned a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Texas at Austin.
Senior Quantitative Trader and Analyst
Dale is responsible for automated trading and quantitative research. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rice University.
Liberty is involved in strategy research and quantitative analysis. Liberty received her Masters of Science in Physics and her Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Houston.
Qian is involved in quantitative analysis and strategy research. Qian has her Bachelor of Science in Computational Math from Jilin University in China and her Ph.D. in Computational Math from Tsinghua University in China.
Client Relations Manager
Leslie is responsible for client service and office administration activities. Leslie received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies and her Master of Business Administration in International Business from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Leslie holds the Series 65 Securities license.

Julie is responsible for client service and office administration activities. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, Government, Philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin. Julie has 10 years of industry experience.
General Partner and Co-founder
Skip founded the firm with Ron Olin in 1986 and is the General Partner of the firm. He received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from Baylor University. In addition, Skip received his J.D. degree from Baylor University School of Law and has practiced law in Houston for over 40 years.
